Wednesday Night Reflections of Tuesday Night

Lori and I have both been sick the past few days. Well, I've been sick since December. So last night I got home and by the time I had settled down from the night I was wore out and needed to hit the sack. So with that, here's an Wednesday night reflection of Tuesday night...
  • Started off Battle of the Sexes...
  • The team captains are competitive and I like it. They were a tad discouraged with people's attitudes regarding it, but they got over it quick.
  • Lori stayed home sick so Ellie filled in on the drums. She did a great job.
  • Matt Delgadillo had to lead worship. I barely had any voice to preach.
  • Love Matt. My bud!!!
  • Started my new series entitled "The Warrior". Talked about how Jesus said he didn't come to bring peace but to bring a sword. My favorite line was..."He's started a revolution over 2000 years ago that is still going on." The title of the message was "The Cause and the Cost". In 1 Sam 17:29 "Is there not a cause?" Once we realize what the cause is we need to count the cost. The biggest cost is our lives.
  • Can't wait to for next week. I'm speaking on "The Adversary". Who is our enemy?

Well, time to go get knocked out by about 3 shots of NyQuil. Later...
