Changes...

It's been a while since I've posted a blog. I really need to do it more often.

As most of you have heard, Lori and I resigned as the High School directors at Celebration Church and we have decided to also leave Celebration Church.

First and foremost...we did not leave hurt, offended, upset, angry, or bitter. We haven't taken a position at another church. We just felt that it was time for us to spread our wings and see where God leads us. To leave our comfort zone and to give everything up to His will. We can't wait to see what God is going to do. We feel that God is calling us into some new things. We're scared but excited. Please keep us in your prayers as we move into this new chapter.

Catch Up

So I'm sitting in Trav's car heading to Taft to lead worship and I thought that I would blog a little since it's been a while since I posted one.

God has been doing some amazing things in Generation. I'm amazed every week at what God is doing. We finished up our series on Psalm 34 last week by having an outdoor/unplugged night. There's nothing like worshipping God in the midst of His creation. Ellie, Duncan, and Trav did an awesome job with worship. Duncan is fitting right in. He's awesome. Last night was phenomenal!! God showed up big time during worship. We learned a new song called "Wrap Me in Your Arms". Wow!!! Went over awesomely!!

Instead of speaking we did a "Candid Conversation's" night. Lori and I were amazed at the questions we received.

Next week we start a new series called "Contagious Grace". I'm really looking forward to this series!!

Another amazing night at Generation!!! We opened up with a time of prayer that was amazing!!! God showed up in an amazing way during worship!!

I spoke part 3 of our series on Psalm 34! Spoke on the fear of the Lord. We learned that true Godly fear will produce...

1. Reverence and Awe
2. The feeling of how God feels about sin
3. True repentance

Tuesday Night Reflections

Tonight's encounter wrecked us!!! First worship was off the chain!! Did a new song by Michael Grungor called "Say So" and it was awesome!! Ellie got on the keyboard later on and did "The More I Seek You". Wow!!! A spirit!of prayer hit us...awesome thing is that's what I was speaking on.

So part 2 of Psalm 34. Focused on verses 4-6 and talked about prayer. We discovered 6 types of prayer found in the bible...supplication, intercession, consecration, faith, agreement, and worship. Then we went into Matthew 6 and looked at the Lord's Prayer as a model to pray!

At the end of the night we all came together and prayed for specific needs!! We are entering into something awesome!!!

Tuesday Night Reflections

It's been forever since I've blogged! First, camp was freaking awesome!! God moved and confirmed so much to us as a movement!!

Last week was awesome. We came together to hold each up in prayer!

Tonight was awesome!!! God moved during worship and gave us a word about grace. Wow!!!

We started a series on Psalm 34. We concentrated on verses 1-3. We learned about worshipping constantly, boasting and telling about the good things God has done, and praising God together! Awesome time of worship afterwards during the altar.

Another Tuesday has come and gone and it was awesome!! Great crowd!! We were finally able to do videos again!! Different type of encounter tonight. We did 2 fast songs to get the students warmed up and then I turned it over to Amy Dobbs and she straight brought it tonight. She spoke on worship...the different types of worship, why we lift our hands, clap our hands, jump, etc. This line blew my mind..."When you opened your mouth and cried your first cry, God heard your voice and said 'I will love that voice forever!' "

She talked about how if we don't praise the rocks will cry out. She them put a line of rocks on the ground and challenged the students to step over the rocks and worship Him with everything that's in them.

She turned it over to the worship team and we worshipped in His presence...

Tuesday Night Reflections!!!

Tonight was phenomenal!!! First off worship was amazing!! Heaven invaded earth!! I love Ellie!! Her worship is so heartfelt! She led us right into the throne room!

Tonight I didn't preach. Instead, our senior pastor Mark Roberts spoke part 4 of our "Supernatural" series. He spoke on the armor of God!! Wow!!! He brought it tonight...some of his key points were...

"Armor does not cover our backs. We were meant to advance and not retreat!"

"Our feet need to be protected because they are our foundation and they lead us to Jesus!"

There were a lot more, but I can't remember them right now!

Here I sit at Chili's after tonight's encounter amazed at how awesome God is!! We met with God during worship. God gave me a word about love. "Greater love has no one than this that one would lay down his life for his friends...." John 15:13!! I shared that His love is overwhelming and has no limits!!

Continued our series on the Supernatural!! We talked about angels and their role. Angels are worshippers, warriors, ministers, and they give direction. Next week Pastor Mark will be preaching part 4 in our series!! Can't wait!!!

Tuesday Night Reflections!!

Another awesome night at Generation!!! God blows my mind every week. Ellie started us off in worship. She is a fantastic worship leader!! She took us directly into the throne room!! We did "You Hold Me Now" again...once again that song wrecked us.

Spoke part 2 of Supernatural. Talked about Satan and His Demons! We dove into who Satan is, how he came to be, and how he wants to destroy this generation. We talked about how we have 2 main weapons to fight...the name of Jesus and the Word of God! There's so much more but not enough time to talk about it. Amazing altar time!!!

God is doing somthing!! We have yet to experience everything He has in store for us.

Tuesday Night Reflections!!

Wow!!! Tonight was amazing!!! First off we had an awesome crowd. Every student was engaged in worship. We learned 2 new songs and they went over great. You Hold Me was awesome! Started a new series titled "Supernatural". We need to understand that there's more going on around us than we can see. Our spiritual eyes need to be opened. The enemy will do anything in his power to keep us from receiving what God has for us and from completing the assignment God has given us. We're in a battle. There's alot more, but I don't have time to write it!! Great altar time!! Next week we dive deeper into who Satan and what demons are!

Tuesday Night Reflections...

So this past Tuesday instead of having our normal encounter we had an end of school/graduation party for Generation. We had a blast. We celebrated the end of a long school year, acknowledged our grads, and welcomed the new students who have come up into Generation.

I was able to share something that God had downloaded into me. On our headstones, when we die, will be the year you were born, a dash, then the year you died. God showed me that my life is based on that dash. Did I advance HIs Kingdom? Did my actions reflect Him? Did I do all I could to make His name famous? Is that dash going to be significant. Or will be just another dash? Hope that makes sense.

A quick thanks goes out to the Pikers for opening their home, to Amanda Delgadillo & Lindsay Piker with decorating, and to Gloria Rogers for taking some awesome pictures!! We love all of you guys!!

New series starting this next Tuesday...Supernatural. I'm really excited about it!!!

Wow!!! Tonight was so awesome. From worship, to Word, to altar call God's presense was in the building!! We learned a new song tonight called "Holy is Our King. Even during sound check we could feel God all over that song! Went over awesome. Everyone was into it!! I spoke tonight on Living With a Passion!! As Christians, our lives should be full of passion!! We should be zealous and enthusiastic and not living an apathetic life. We need to have a passion for people, a passion for purpose, and a passion for pardon.

Another awesome night...

•Great crowd!! I didn't expect as many tonight due to graduations...
•We even had 3 visitors!!
•Once again, worship was on point! God's presence was tangible tonight!!
•Did something different tonight! We called tonight's message "Candid Conversations"
•Students were able to text questions for Lori and I to answer.
•The questions ranged from spiritual (How do I determine God's purpose for my life?) to life issues (How will I know when it's the right time for me to date?)
•At the end of tonight's encounter we still had around 6 questions that had not been answered!
•Each visitor said they loved everything and want to come back again!
•We definitely will be doing this again!!

Another awesome night at Generation...Here are the highlights

Still having issues with video since we got the new computer, but we'll figure it out.
Worship was on point...I'm proud of our team...Travis, Ryan, Ellie, Lori, & Trever...They are all great musicians but more than that, they are all worshippers.
We tried something different last night. God laid a new idea on Lori's heart a few months back and we tried it last night. We split the guys and girls up after worship and just talked about life issues with them.
God moved in both groups. The one thing each student there last night learned was this; no matter what their social status is , what music they listen too, how they dress, or who they hang out with, they all deal with the same issues.
I loved the open dialogue. Most of all I loved how one student would open up and another would discuss how they went through the same issue and how God helped them through it.
Seeing students encouraging and helping each other and letting God speak through them is awesome!!
I'm really excited about next week!!

•Spoke on movement. If we don't move we die.
•We have to be led by God, the Holy Spirit. and by authority...
•Going deep is gradual. You can't just dive in.
•God really moved at the end of the message.

Yeah...I know I'm a little late...but here they are...Tuesday Night Reflections!!

God amazes me every week when we meet.
Worship was amazing.
There's something about the sound that comes from this generation that gives me chills.
It's real and authentic!!
Hearing them sing "Fire fall down" over and over again brought me to tears.
Ellie, Travis, Trever, Ryan, and Lori are so awesome. I love how God has knit us together.
Continued the "Deep Calls to Deep" series.
I thought this would be the last week but God keeps giving fresh revelation.
Spoke on "The Journey for Deep Things" using Isaiah 6:1-8.
To access the deep things of God, there's a journey that consists of 5 things...pride has to die. Once that happens, you'll confess your sins, then you'll be cleansed, once sin is out of the way you'll hear the voice of God, and then you'll answer the call.
Great altar time.

Tuesday Night Reflections...

We've had some great encounters lately. I'm totally amazed at what God is doing. The movement has begun and is going strong!! He's taking us somewhere we've never been.

Tonight was so awesome...
Worship was on point. His presence filled the room so thick.
At one point we stopped playing and just worshiped.
"Let the fire fall / Let the wind blow / Let the Glory come down...Rest in this place!!"
So excited at what God's doing in our students.
God wrecked me yesterday and changed my entire message...
Continued my series on "Deep Calls to Deep". We talked about "The Price You Pay for the Deep Things".
There's a price that has to be paid for the deep things of God. You may have to leave your family and friends, break out of your comfort zone, deal with unconfessed sin, and deal with pride.
We had a fantastic altar call. God was healing, delivering, and restoring different ones. All I can say is WOW!!
Can't wait for next week!!!

Been a while...

OK, so it's been a while since I've posted. Things have been crazy. I'm going to try and get back on track.

Generation is running full force. God is moving and it's blowing my mind. He's wrecking every part of me. We're encountering Him ways that I've never seen. I'm excited about what He's doing. I truly believe that we are on the verge of something great and I can't wait.

Worship was amazing...
It's so great to see students worshipping with all they have. Basically giving themselves in worship...
Spoke on the cry that comes from your mouth, the cry that comes from your spirit, and the cry that comes from your heart. We need to make His name famous.
Altar time was great...
I get choked up when I see someone giving themselves to Him for the first time.

Here we go...

Last night was amazing!!!! God showed up in a way that wrecked our worlds...
Worship was on point!!
I really couldn't worship because God was doing something in me. Thank God for Matt....Thanks bro!!
Started a new series called "Deep Calls to Deep"...
God wants us to go deeper. But in order to do so we have to break the box that we're in and get a revelation of who He is.
Simon Peter got that revelation when Jesus told him to launch out deeper and cast out his nets.
We need to launch out deeper.
Altar time was awesome. We lingered in His presence until late. No one wanted to leave.
I truly believe that there is a John the Baptist annointing on this generation. They are the forerunners that will usher in His coming!!
I'm tearing up right now just thinking about it. Thank you Father!!!

This event has been a huge success.

Encounter

Tonight was another wow night...
Most of the students were really engaged in worship.
God spoke to me at work today and totally changed what I was going to talk about tonight.
I spoke on Authentic Worship.
I brought out that in the Bible worship really didn't have anything to do with music. When you got a revelation of God you didn't write a song, you killed something.
We need to start killing some stuff during worship. Pride has to die and the opinions of other people need to be killed.
Altar call was AMAZING!!!!
God showed up and touched a lot of lives. We worshiped until almost nine and kids still didn't want to leave.

I'm really excited about what God is doing. He gave me this word during prayer tonight, "This is how it starts!!" He showed me that with authentic and pure worship and fervent prayer, we'll awaken a generation!!

Girls finally decorated!!!
Travis and Amy came out and did our "game show" tonight. Girls won and received 5000 points.
Guys are starting to catch up though.
I really think it's going to be tight toward the end.

Encounter

Tonight was stinkin' awesome!!!
Everything flowed so well!!!
God showed up!!
At one point during worship all music stopped and there was just the sound of students worshipping.
After worship, Kevin felt that God had given him a word to give. I gave him the mic and he brought forth a word on faithfulness that catapulted us into what God had given me for tonight.
Spoke on the thought "The Revolution of the Sons of God"
I truly believe that God is going to use this generation as modern day John the Baptist's to prepare the way for His coming. There's a sound that's going to come out of them that will awaken a generation and to advance His Kingdom on the earth.
Altar time amazing!!!!!

I'm so excited at what God is doing. He's been speaking to me and Lori about some stuff and we're really excited at what's to come. Well, that's it for now. Thanks for reading...Later!!!

Girls are still in the lead...
Guys were awesome tonight. Guys scored 10,000 points with an awesome poem and song they performed.
Just a couple of weeks left...

Encounter

Great crowd tonight...
Worship was awesome. Matt brought in a new song. Went over really well...
Everyone was really engaged...
Holy Spirit moved at the end and led me to exhort on the fact that God loves us, the act was He gave his son for us, and the pact (covenant) we have with Him is eternal life. The fact is we love Him, the act is giving ourselves fully to Him, the pact (covenant) is eternal life...
After that we let lose in worship and God moved.
Spoke on Real Christianity. When Jesus' hands touch our lives we go from ordinary to extraordinary. The water was ordinary but once Jesus got involved it became extraordinary. Real Christianity is more than 90 minutes a week. You don't really know Him if that's all your giving Him.
Altar time blew my mind. All I can say is wow...

I just opened a Facebook account...

I would love to move to the south and live in Tennessee or Alabama...
I have a short fuse at times...
I lack patience when it comes to dealing with certain people (that's starting to change though)...
I have a beautiful wife who loves me unconditionally...
I'm the youngest of 7 children...
I'm a mama's boy big time...
I've just recently started learning how to film and edit video (it's a lot of fun...still have a lot to learn though...I bug TV all the time with questions...sorry about that bro!!)...

Greetings all!! Doing this blog from work today. Enjoy and here we go...

Battle of the Sexes

It's heating up...
Guys are trying to catch up but the girls keep moving forward...
Lori and I got 2 awesome poems from the girls last week...
Challenged the guys to get together and write Lori a poem and recite it to her. I'll give them 2500 points for it.
This event has been a blast.

Encounter

Been sick so I was really weak last night so Ellie and Matt lead worship. They did an awesome job.
God was speaking to me after worship and I wanted to let the students know that if you draw near to God, He'll draw near to you. The key is we have to take the first step toward Him.
Finished up The Warrior series. We talked about "The Mark of a Warrior!"
We learned that whenever you encounter God The Father, God The Son, or God The Holy Spirit; you have to change. We all have scars and all scars tell a story. Jesus' scars have changed the world.
I told the students that I will not trust a leader if they don't walk with a limp or have battle scars.
3 Marks of a Warrior were (1) A Radical Encounter with God (2) A Name/Identity Shift (3) A Hunger for the Lost
Great altar time.

Spirit tonight was great...
Girls came dressed in 80's garb and the guys all had orange shirts on...
Girls are still in lead...
All the guys bought all the girls Crushes tonight...
Guys took a page from the girls book and gave me a custom towel to use. It was a ShamWow!!

Encounter

We had a great night...
Worship was really good as always. We really engaged during the last song.
Lori shared a dream that God has given her. To some that may sound hokey and super spiritual, but I truly believe that God still gives people dreams.

Message went over well. Part 4 of my Warrior series. Tonight was the topic "Warriors Come Out to Play." God has called us to run toward the enemy. But sometimes we're afraid even thought the King of the Universe is on our side. We talked about how God has called us to awaken a generation.
God lead a few of us to stay and pray for a while. You could feel His presence strong.

We're having so much fun...
The guys are totally getting into the decorating thing. They've turned their side of the building into a man cave.
Asked one of them what their inspiration...His answer...Chuck Norris!!!
Girls have something up their sleeves. They're getting sneaky.
Got a Starbucks Mocha Frap tonight from the girls and a towel for me to wipe my face with during worship and preaching. They got major points for that.
Girls are ahead, but the boys are coming back.

OK captains, your task this week is to get as many pics of multiple team members with Pastor and Kim. The catch, they can't know that you're taking them. You or your team mates have to be looking at the camera.

Encounter

Another awesome night.
Worship was fantastic
Great crowd. Most of them engaged in worship and seeking His face.
Preached part 3 of "The Warrior" series.
Tonight I spoke on "Prepare for Battle". Two ways to prepare....(1) submit to authority. There are 3 types of authority that are spoken about in the Bible that we need to follow; government, parental, and spiritual (2) We need to face and overcome fear. Fear is something that distracts.
Seemed to go over very well.

I'm getting an IPhone. I've worn Lori down. I'm another step closer.
I'm going to be out of high school 15 years this year...
OK, that was very random...even for me...oh well...
I'm craving Lucky Charms right now...
I about dislocated my shoulder playing "Clone Wars Light Saber Duels" with my nephew. I still beat him though.
Couldn't move my right arm the next day.
I can't think of anything else...

Lori and I just finished watching the season 3 premiere of Friday Night Lights. I have to admit that this is my second favorite TV show next to Smallville. I'm so glad that it's back. Just thought I'd share.

Ready for bed so here we go...

Battle of the Sexes

Week #2 of Battle of the Sexes was great. Students are really getting into it and I have to give mad props to the team captains for pumping everyone up.
Matt and Amanda are great hosts. Their recap promo was hilarious.
So far guys are ahead in point totals, but I'll get an update tomorrow from Amanda and see where we're at.
We had an awesome crowd tonight. I truly believe that by the time we're done with this, we're going to have the building packed out.

Encounter

God amazes me more and more...
He showed up in a way that none of us have ever felt in one of our encounters tonight...
Worship was off the chain. Tyler and Travis' dual solo was fantastic.
Students were fired up from the get go.
Ellie really spoke an awesome word during worship. So proud of my daughter!!!
Continued with my series on "The Warrior". Spoke on "My Adversary". This was a message about Satan and how we are at war with him. He tries to distract us with little insignificant battles so that our minds are not focused on the big battle.
Great time in the altar's. A spirit of intercession hit and we fought through prayer and praise for people.
Had a visitor tell us that she loved the power she felt tonight.

Wednesday Night Reflections of Tuesday Night

Lori and I have both been sick the past few days. Well, I've been sick since December. So last night I got home and by the time I had settled down from the night I was wore out and needed to hit the sack. So with that, here's an Wednesday night reflection of Tuesday night...

Started off Battle of the Sexes...
The team captains are competitive and I like it. They were a tad discouraged with people's attitudes regarding it, but they got over it quick.
Lori stayed home sick so Ellie filled in on the drums. She did a great job.
Matt Delgadillo had to lead worship. I barely had any voice to preach.
Love Matt. My bud!!!
Started my new series entitled "The Warrior". Talked about how Jesus said he didn't come to bring peace but to bring a sword. My favorite line was..."He's started a revolution over 2000 years ago that is still going on." The title of the message was "The Cause and the Cost". In 1 Sam 17:29 "Is there not a cause?" Once we realize what the cause is we need to count the cost. The biggest cost is our lives.
Can't wait to for next week. I'm speaking on "The Adversary". Who is our enemy?

Well, time to go get knocked out by about 3 shots of NyQuil. Later...

Tuesday Night Reflections

I love writing these Tuesday Night Reflections. I enjoy thinking back on the night and just basking in the awesomeness that is God...

All I can say is...Wow!!!
God made Himself known in a big way!!!! He amazes me more and more!!!
Worship was amazing!!! We could have gone on all night...
Everyone was really engaged...
God spoke to hearts during our time in the Word. I had nothing to do with it. It was all Him!!
Spoke on the thought "How Will You be Remembered?" Will you be known like David was known? A man whose heart beat in time with the Father's heart.
Great time in the altar. We encountered God!!!

Battle of the Sexes starts next week. I can't wait. I really excited about what God's is going to do. It's going to be fun. OK, time to hit the sack. New Years Eve party tomorrow night, rest all day Thursday, and then head to Winter Camp Friday. Hopefully I can blog a little while up there. I will be updating my Twitter. Check it out. It's in the upper right hand corner!!!

Drivers side door to my car was frozen shut today. Took a while to get it unthawed so I could get in.

Atlanta Falcons are 9-5. Wow finally a winning season.
"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" is awesome!!!

Tuesday Night Reflections...

Another Tuesday night is under our belts. Time for Tuesday Night Reflections...

2 visitors tonight (3 if you count my niece Hillarie, but she's been there before)...they let me know that they loved the service.
God showed up in an awesome way during worship.
I sang my voice hoarse.
It was worth it though.
Finished my series on Temptation.
We talked about the temptation of Compromising for Acceptance.
This movement is going strong.
Had a great talk with Travis and Ellie after service. I love those guys.
I'm really proud of Travis. God has brought him a long way. And it's only up from here.

Wednesday Night Reflections of Tuesday Night...

Very well received...
Most of the students responded...
No video this week. My internet was down and Vegas was acting up.
I will make up for that next week.
Travis Phillips is getting better and better every week.
Trever is the man.
Ellie was a lifesaver. I've been sick and about lost my voice during the last 2 songs and she picked it up and took care of leading the rest of the night.
Lori is so awesome. She jumped in and sang lead on the last song when I was praying and Ellie was worshipping.
God has blessed us with a great team!!!
Already excited about next week. I can't wait!!!

Smallville

The past couple of days I've been home sick with the flu. With nothing on TV at all, I've caught up on Smallville. I finished Season 5 and started Season 6 yesterday. Hopefully I'll get through Season 6 today. Nothing better than sipping a hot cup of coffee and watching Smallville.

Maybe someone will get me Season 7 for Christmas.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and post some things that I'm very thankful for...

My wife - She's the greatest, my best friend, a great cook who keeps me fat, freaking gorgeous, and a mighty woman of God.
My friends - Too many to mention, but I love all of you.
My family - I have the best mom, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.
The Atlanta Falcons - 7-4 baby. Can't believe we actually have a winning record this year.
Generation Students - You guys rock. The past 3 Tuesday's were amazing. It's only going to get better from here.
Celebration Church - Best church ever!!!!!!!
Celebration Men's Softball - We are awesome. 9-0!!!
God - Without Him, I'm nothing!!!

Another awesome night tonight...Great turn out.
Everyone is digging the videos. I'm digging the new things I'm learning as I film and edit.
Worship was phenomenal. Students were really engaged.
Spoke on being the generation of the shaking ones. Let whatever can be shaken...be shaken.
Next week's message is going to challenge each person their. I'm just studying it and it's already challenging me.
Some issues before we started with media and sound, but worked everything out in time.
Matt Dobbs is awesome. He's doing a great job.
Delgadillo, Lori, and I doing worship together brought back some great memories.
God is in this movement. I truly believe that we're going to be reaching a level where none of us expected to go.
My wife amazes me. She truly captured the moment with her prayer tonight.

Tuesday Night Reflections

Tonight we launched Generation. We're a gathering of high school students ready to win a generation at all costs. Every Tuesday night I'm going post a blog and reflect on the happenings of that night's encounter...Here we go...

First and foremost, God showed up!!!
Everything ran so smooth...
We have a great team and can't wait to add to it...
Mongo is the man. Great spiritual son who's ready and willing to learn.
Everyone loved the video announcements.
Great core of students tonight. They were pumped and ready to go.
Worship was great. Travis, Trevor, and Lori did a great job. I was there too, but I'm nothing without my team.
It was so awesome to get back to speaking regularly
Spoke out of Jeremiah 20:9, Luke 24:32, & 2 Timothy 1:6. God is looking for the Burning Ones.
Great altar time.

Election thoughts...

So we have new president. I've been reading so many comments like...

"cant believe what has happened"
"wondering how long it takes until the morons realize what they've done"
"WHAT HAS AMERICA DONE?!?!?! "

Some of you who read this may get really mad and offended by some of the stuff I'm about to say.

First off, I believe that this whole election was in God's hands. He knows what He's doing. His will was done. I can hear dome of you now saying, "How can you say that?!?!?" I can say that by saying this...maybe this has happened so the Church can rise up and be the Church!!! Quit worrying about denominations and how many people we're running and how many campuses we can open and how big our buildings are and how awesome our worship team is and start being the church. The modern day church has become so comfortable that maybe we've forgotten how to pray. Even before Obama became a candidate and Prop 8 was a thought, the church should have been praying. For the sake of the Kingdom. I'm ready to be the church. Are you?

2 Chronicles 7:14 - 14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

Second...I'm going to pray for Mr. Obama every chance I get. We're commanded to pray for those in authority.

And one more thing...If you didn't vote then you have no right to complain about anything.

I sit here thanking God for His faithfulness. A year ago I was questioning Him quite a bit, but I know that He had Lori and I in His hands the entire time. Jeremiah 29:11 rings true...He does have plans for us. We're on His mind. I just wanted to take some time and thank some people for being there for us when we've needed it...

Chip & Debbie - You guys have been my spiritual parents since I was in high school. The best youth pastors a guy could have. Thanks for being there this past year.

Travis and Amy - You guys have stuck with us through thick and thin. No matter what, you're always there. Thanks for being our friends. We love you guys so much!!!

Terry & Lori - We've said it over and over but you guys are more than friends...you're part of our family. We love you guys a lot.

Terry & Kylie - You guys are the best. Lori and I count it a privilege to call you friends. Thanks for everything.

Last but certainly not least...

Todd & Mishele - Wow...I really can't put into words what you guys mean to us. Thank you for opening your home and just listening to us in the living room that night and letting us vent and cry. Thank you for the encouragement and the advice.

Everyday my buddy Tim and I go for walk during our morning and afternoon breaks. It gives us some time outside and some good exercise. We walk about a half mile a day. As usual we went out for our morning walk this morning. It was beautiful outside. Birds were singing and flying from tree to tree.

During one birds flight, it decided to relieve itself......on the sleeve of my T-shirt. Yes my friends...a bird pooped on me. From now on, I'm steering clear of the trees on my walks.

Things have been nuts lately. Just really busy. So I haven't had time to blog. Here's a quick run-down of what's been going on.

First, Impact was awesome!! TV did an awesome job. Set-up was great.
Lori's going to be gone all next week on her cruise.
Work's been crazy.
Dodgers swept the Cubs but right now are down 2 games to none to the Phillies. I'm still believing that we're going to go to the series.
We're 2-0 in men's church league. WooHoo!!! Co-ed's fun...That's all that needs to be said about that.
Tomorrow's going to be great. I'm preaching up in Central Cal at a service called Unite. I can't wait. I love going up to Cen-Cal!!!

Dodgers won tonight. We have a 2-0 lead coming back to L.A.!!! I'm excited to them back in the post season!!!

Celebration men's softball team started their new season tonight. We won 15-0 I believe. Fun times. Great attitude from both teams.

One more thing...Fall Impact on Saturday. Can't wait. It's going to be awesome.

Men's Advance was great. Hung out with some great friends and made some new ones. God moved!!! Terry V filmed a promo for camp 09 with Bishop, Rocky, me, and some random guys. Just call Mr. 3 Takes. I couldn't keep a straight face at all. I think it turned out good in the end.

Tonight is softball. We have a double header. Hopefully I can get a hit. I'm in kind of a slump.

I broke a girls nose...

Yep...I broke a girls nose last night. Here's the story. I was playing short stop last night on my softball team. Grounder was hit to me. Threw the ball and it skipped off our 1st baseman's glove and hit this chick right in the nose. Yeah...I probably need to stick to playing right field.

At least I'm not a Yankees fan...

Brian Regan is hilarious......................"I never knew what was going on out in right field, I just knew I would get a free snow cone at the end of the game. I'd be out there, awww, free snow cone. "Brian, what's the score?" "Free Snowcone! Free snow cone at the end of the game, if you play they're gonna give you a free snowcone, even if you play half game you get a... you don't get a half snow cone...you get a whole snow cone for half the game... people that play whole game get a whole snow cone and the people that play half game get a whole snow cone. So it's always whole snow cone. So, I'd rather play half game. Still get the whole snow cone..."How many outs Brian?" "GRAPE! I'm gonna get grape, or cherry. They're both... favorites, so either one is good, but if they have both, I'll get grape, because grape is a little more favorite. The body...

Some how I through my back out yesterday. My whole body hurts when I move.

This morning I started thinking about the body of Christ. When one part of the body hurts, we should all hurt. But here's the problem, when one part of the body hurts, instead of hurting with them, we talk about them, kick them to the curb, and alienate them. We call them our friends and our brothers and sisters, but we treat them like dirt.

That's just one of my thoughts...

Some stuff about me...I'm married to a beautiful woman named Lori, I love to eat, read, listen to music, play piano, and play softball.
